Description:
Porcelain jar with underglaze blue decoration. Almost identical to BM 1953.1017.1, this globular jar has a raised neck and foot and a flat base. It is painted with four stylized lotus blooms whose continuous stem encicles each flower. The ill-fitting glaze is covered with dark-brown crazing. The neck is badly chipped.
