Jun stoneware incense burner with globular body, wide neck with two handles, flattened mouthrim, and three cabriole legs. The incense burner has opalescent blue glaze with splashes of purple and dark red in-glaze copper pigment.

The form is based on metalwork prototypes. Modern studio potters, living almost a thousand years later, such as the British artist Bernard Leach (AD 1887–1979), were inspired by the opalescent Jun stoneware glazes to create their own beautiful versions.
