A helmet; domed, with a chimney-shaped top and wide cloth ‘skirt’. Made of wood, covered with natural cream tabby cotton cloth; trimmed with pale blue tabby cotton cloth and padded with cream wool fleece. Four piped horizontal slits. Cloth originally a storage bag? Printed text in red and black ink, including the name ‘Calcutta’ and the word ‘imperial’.
