Description:
A hat; a dance-hat. Wide, circular brim. Blue (indigo-dyed?) tabby cotton cloth, missing from top, revealing sub-structure of flat cane basketry (plaited basketry). White, yellow and blue cotton cords interlaced on brim to form six-pointed star. Brim lined with faded red tabby cotton cloth. Circular padding at base of crown (cream tabby cotton); crown made from interlaced cane.
