Description:
Hanging. A red cord at the top enables the piece to be hung. The hanging comprises three parts. The top part is an octagonal piece with colour printed paper portraits of Mao Zedong (young man on the front; older man on the back). A small metal ring joins this to the second part, which is a cut-out in the shape of the character ‘fu’ meaning ‘fortune’. A small metal ring links this to two small bells, and to a red and yellow tassle hanging below.
