Description:
A man’s gown; ankle-length. Made of green satin silk cloth; worn with hat As1906,1226.23. Two red silk damask ties at end of collar made of tabby cotton cloth. Gown lined with green tabby cotton cloth, unevenly dyed; deep vent middle back. Piece of natural cream tabby cotton cloth, knotted at top, stitched to inside (lower back) of gown. Red paper label with number ’58’ written in black ink glued to left sleeve front.
