This games set is divided into two sets of 16 circular counters, each set stored in a separate wooden drawer in a cabinet which has been made later. One set of counters bears red characters on each side surrounded by indented ring borders couloured green on one side and the other set has green characters on both sides with a yellow ring border on one surface. Decorative motifs around the edges of the counters vary possibly suggesting that the counters have been married together from different sets. These show three cranes among clouds, eight auspicious emblems, rocks and camellia or floral patterns on an overlapping petal border. Both sets have two elephants 象two horses 馬 two chariot 車 two knights, and two cannon, 砲. One set has five soldiers, 兵, and a teacher, 士, while the other set has five ?? and a general.
