Chinese bill of exchange, issued in 1903 by the Fu Qing Yuan Bank of Dongkou, with instructions for the Fu Shun De Bank of Jijiazhuang (Hebei) to pay 3000 cash to Mr Liu. There are 90 Chinese characters in the square red seal: they form the first part of a famous piece of classical prose by Wang Bo (650-676) of the Tang dynasty.
