Description:
Carved wooden figure of a Buddha in meditation pose. He is seated cross-legged on a lotus pedestal, with both hands hands on his lap. This is the Dhyāna mudrā, the gesture of meditation. The inner garment is painted in black, the cloak draped over his shoulders mainly in red with some black stripes.
