Description:
Stucco figurine of a standing Buddha wearing a drapery folded in pleats. The right hand is raised in the abhaya mudra (the gesture of no-fear), the left hand holds the robe. The head of the Buddha with the elongated earlobes and the protuberance on top of the head is surrounded by a nimbus. He is standing before a mandorla which has several layers, the two outer ones in the shape of a lotus and a flame border. The back is flat, as this figurine was probably meant to be attached to a background, possibly a vesica.
