Comments:Gao Fenghan was one of a group of painters knows as the Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou. He lived in a Buddhist monastery in Yangzhou and made a living from his paintings. His early paintings show careful brushwork. Later his right arm became paralysed by arthritis, and he started to paint with his left hand in a much sketchier style.
