Comments:Rawson 1992:This greenware ewer replicates the shape, decoration and colour of Northern Song dynasty Yaozhou ware, though the proportions, thickness of the body and decorative motifs all appear slightly inconsistent with Song examples. It is the highly bubbly texture of the glaze which indicates most clearly the recentness of manufacture.
