Comments:Howard 1974, p. 187The arms are those granted to Sir Matthew Decker on 6 August 1716. As he had no male heirs the title died with him on 18 March 1749. Most of the service is at Wilton House having been inherited in the 18th century through Sir Matthew’s daughter.Howard 1974; p. 167 for a dish decorated in underglaze blue with the same coat of arms; and Howard 1974; p. 187 for two cups and saucers decorated in “famille verte” enamels.
