Description:
Porcelain dish with incised decoration, overglaze yellow and green enamels. This small dish with rounded sides is moulded in the form of a flower head with an out-turned petal-edged rim and tapering foot. It is incised and painted in overglaze green and yellow. On the base is an incised six-character Wanli reign mark, painted over with yellow in a yellow ring on a green ground. Such a small dish may have been used either to hold sauce or pickles or as a rest for chopsticks.
