Description:
Porcelain dish decorated in underglaze blue and polychrome enamels. It has rounded sides and a broad tapering foot. Inside two fierce dragons with gaping jaws are depicted, reserved in underglaze blue, chasing each other around a flaming pearl on a yellow ground. Outside alternating flowering and fruiting branches are outlined in black enamel with red flowers and fruit, and green leaves on a yellow ground. The base has a six-character Wanli mark in black enamel in a double ring and is covered with a yellow enamel glaze.
