Description:
Porcelain dish with monochrome turquoise glaze and ground-down rim. This shallow dish has rounded sides with an out-turned ground-down rim and tapering foot. Inside it is slightly sunken in the centre and is covered with a greenish-blue-tinged glaze, typical of the Jiajing era. Outside it is coated with a monochrome turquoise glaze which is somewhat uneven. In the centre of the base is an underglaze blue six-character Jiajing reign mark in a double ring.
