Description:
Small porcelain dish with underglaze blue decoration. Similar in form to BM 1947.0712.207a and b, this shallow dish has rounded sides and a slightly tapered foot. Inside it is glazed grey-white. Outside it is painted in underglaze blue with naturalistic grasshoppers and plants. The base is marked with four characters in a double ring which read ‘Hefu jiaqi’ [Precious object of He Prefecture, or Precious object of Mr He’s treasury, or Precious object of Prefect He].
