Description:
Large porcelain dish decorated in underglaze blue with bunch of lotus in the centre, with seed pods, large and small blooms, buds and leaves; the cavetto with alternating lingzhi and four fruiting branches of loquat, peach, pomegranate and cherry; the rim with a classic scroll border; the outside with a continuous scroll of ten chrysanthemum flowers; the base flat, unglazed and putty-coloured and sprinkled with orange and brown iron impurities.
