Description:
Dish. Coat of arms of Stuckey of Devon, “Per bend sinister dovetailed or and azure, a lion rampant double queued ermine” quartering Bartlett, “Sable two bars between three cinquefoils argent”. These Stucky arms were those granted in 1759 to Stuckey of Weston in Devon, quartering the older coat of Bartlett of Weston in Branscombe. It is clear that prior to 1759 a Bartlett heiress had married a Stuckey, and their son had then inherited the property at Branscombe. Made of enamelled porcelain.
