Description:
Porcelain dish with underglaze blue decoration. This shallow dish has rounded sides and a flat out-turned rim; it stands on a low foot ring. The base is unglazed. The dish is painted in underglaze blue with, in a central double-ring medallion, a single peony with foliage and, surrounding this, a band of stylized lotus with six blooms; around the rim is a key-fret border. Outside are fourteen lappets in underglaze blue. The rim is repaired with infill and lacquer.
