Porcelain dish. The dish has copper red galze with pale mottling on the front. There is a man and boy by trees and a rock in ‘famille verte’ palette enamels in the centre. There is an inscription on the base, which is glazed.

Potters made almost no copies of these glazes for the next five hundred years until they were re-discovered in the Kangxi reign (AD 1662–1722). In the centre is an enamel design depicting a man and boy by trees and a rock.
