Description:
Porcelain dish with underglaze blue and enamels. This shallow dish has rounded sides and a wide flat everted rim with a low tapering foot. It is covered inside and out with a web of underglaze blue lines which begin as a six-petalled star-shaped flower and radiate outwards in rings of diamond-shaped petals, linked by circles, until it reaches the rim and over the outside, where the diamond forms become more curvaceous. Covering this net are simple red, yellow and brown flowers with green or red centres. The foot ring is gritty and bevelled and the base covered with air bubbles and chatter marks. In its centre, in a double ring, is a four-character Tianqi reign mark in underglaze blue.
