Porcelain dish with flattened rim. The dish has a fine white body. There are two female figures, one a daoist fairy holding a ‘ruyi’ sceptre in her right hand, a heavenly deer by her, painted in pale transparent enamel on the interior, and leaves, butterflies and flowers on the rim. Pair with PDF 810.

She is accompanied by another female figure holding a dish all within a landscape. Leaves, butterflies and flowers are painted around the flat rim. There is a six-character apocryphal Chenghua mark in a double circle in underglaze blue on the base. Early Qing enamels fire as thin, translucent watercolour-like colours, dominated by green, black, aubergine, red and yellow pigments.
