Description:
Porcelain stem cup with underglaze blue decoration. This delicately potted stem cup has a shallow bowl with rounded sides and an everted rim. Its solid stem spreads outwards at the foot and it has a flat unglazed base. Painted in a classic Xuande style in underglaze blue, it shows undulating formal lotus scroll on the bowl and stem with a classic scroll around the rim. The foot is encircled with a band of scrolling leaves. Inside in the centre is a six-character Xuande reign mark in a double ring.
