“Blanc de Chine” and enamelled porcelain lobed cup. Decorated in Holland with a red, green and gold pattern of straps and dots. Dresden inventory mark incised on the base.

Comments:The pattern of straps and dots was unusual but must have been liked at Dresden. Similar decoration appears on a stand for a Batavian ware bowl and a set of twelve Batavian cups and saucers, all acquired after 1727, in the collection of the Staayliche Kunstsammlungen of Dresden.
