Description:
Conical porcelain wine cup with underglaze blue decoration. Delicately potted, this thin-walled wine cup has a conical form with an everted lip and a flared foot. Four geese are depicted in different attitudes on the outside with a single outline to the rim and double around the foot. On the base, in a single ring, is an apocryphal six-character Chenghua reign mark in underglaze blue.

Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001:Small motifs on a plain ground together with the wash style of painting and the form of this cup suggest comparisons with Tianqi period ‘min yao’ porcelains.
