Comments:Registration slip: ‘Presented by Dr. W.G.K. Barnes, R.N. 3rd March 1896. China. Small cage with top and bottom formed of oval plates of dark brown wood, the sides consisting of slender vertical rods of bamboo scraped to circular section. There is a central partition of similar rods and there are two sliding doors of the same with transverse pieces of dark brown wood at their bases. In the centre of the top is a brass ring.
