Comments:From Christine Evans, by email (2011): ‘These people found a large cache of these coins at the Palmer River Gold Fields (in far north Queensland) in 1979 and I know that some of these coins were donated to the Museum and maybe even one of the albums (they compiled 30 albums all slightly different).’ There is an album as described by Christine Evans in the Coin Collection at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (July 2011).
