Description:
Pair of hanging scrolls, made of ink on paper. Poem by Li Bai (李白) of the same title: “The Universe is a lodging house for a myriad things, / and Time itself a travelling guest of the centuries. / As this floating life is like a dream, / let us, like the ancients, light candles and so / prolong the pleasures of the day into the night”.
