Its form while common in the Qing period, was unknown in the Southern Song era. Dark clays were used at Jingdezhen in the eighteenth century to create imitations of earlier dark-bodied wares but potters also applied brown washes to the exposed white porcelain body to recreate the紫口鐵足(zikou tiezu ‘purple mouth and iron foot’) of original guan wares made at Hangzhou (see case 54).Stoneware with guan-type crackled glazeGuan-ware type wareProbably Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province 江西省, 景德鎮 Qing dynasty, about AD 1800–1900 PDF A55仿官釉方形筆洗此方形筆洗施開片青釉。
