Carved ivory brush rest in the shape of a lotus leaf, which is slightly withered and chewed with holes, with a three-legged toad and a snail on the surface. stained with colours. The cross leaves on the back carry two characters referring to the carver Du Shiyuan (act. 18thC). There is an original wooden stand carved in the form of waves.
