Round porcelain covered box. There is a figurative scene of a scholar and attendant on a terrace with another man pushing a wheel barrow in underglaze blue on the cover, and a landscape scene with rocks, trees and two buildings around the sides of the lower part. There is an inscription on the base.

Instead of being read vertically in two rows from top right to bottom left, it reads from top right to left across in three horizontal rows.
