Description:
Octagonal box and cover with crackled green glaze. This box and cover have eight faceted sides and a flat top which is slightly convex. They are incised around the sides and covered inside and out in a pale green crackled matt glaze with the exception of a ring on the base and the rims of the tray and cover. A firing crack in the tray is repaired with gold lacquer.
