Description:
Pair of porcelain bowls with rounded sides and everted rim. There is a medallion with fungus scroll incised, with green enamel on a yellow on-biscuit enamel ground on the interior, and men among a pine tree landscape incised and painted on exterior. There is a mark in underglaze blue on the base.

Potters working at Jingdezhen a century earlier, in the Yongle (AD 1403–24) reign invented this green and yellow colour scheme.
