Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001 updated 2009:It is a Jun ware of the early Ming period. Interestingly the British Museum Register of Acquisitions notes that the donor, Mr K. K. Chow, said the incense burner was a kiln waster from the Jun kilns in Henan. It was made as a stand to hold a flower pot shaped like a large ‘zhadou’ spittoon. An unmarked flower pot covered with an identical turquoise glaze which shows the same green tinge inside, was also excavated from the Chenghua remains at Zhushan.
