Description:
Open bowl, decorated externally with cafe au lait glaze, a three-character Thai inscription scratched on the base, and a blue-and-white floral decorationin the interior. In the centre of the bowl, a hole has been drilled, perhaps to enable it to be used as a clock (to time cockfight rounds), when placed in water. Export ware, 18th century.
