Description:
Octagonal porcelain bowl and cover with underglaze blue decoration. This octagonal bowl stands on a foot ring and its eight-sided domed cover with knob finial fits snugly inside the neck. Inside both bowl and cover are glazed. Outside they are decorated with a design combining five-petalled flower heads on a scale-like ground outlined in dark blue and covered with a monochrome mid-blue wash.
