These vessels have an angular profile, with a thickened rolled rim and a low foot and are glazed inside, outside and on the base with a broad-bean coloured celadon glaze. The Longquan kilns were non-official kilns whose workers made ceramics nevertheless for the imperial household, but also for middle class patrons and for customers abroad.
