Description:
Porcelain bowl with underglaze blue decoration. This deep bowl has rounded sides, an everted rim and a flared foot. A man is shown riding a donkey, followed by a servant carrying a plum-blossom branch. The design is sketched in dark blue, filled in with pale blue wash beneath the glaze. Inside there is a double ring medallion containing two flowers. There is an apocryphal four-character Xuande mark on the base in a double ring.
