Porcelain bowl with underglaze blue decoration. This blue-and-white bowl is thinly potted with deep rounded sides and an out-turned rim; it stands on a low foot ring. Inside it is glazed but undecorated; outside two pairs of geese are depicted among reeds in a naturalistic waterscape. The rim and join of foot to bowl are outlined with one and the foot with two double lines. A spurious six-character Xuande reign mark adorns the base.

Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001:The shape of the bowl, pale blue cobalt and execution of the design all point to a late Wanli date.
