Description:
Porcelain vase, imitation of Song Guan ware. The rim of the mouth and foot have been painted brown to imitate the ‘purple mouth and iron foot’ of Song Guan wares. The base inscribed with a poem by the Qianlong emperor extolling the wonders of Guan ware. Dated Qianlong ‘guisi’ year.
