Description:
Cizhou-type stoneware bottle with everted rim, and four small handles near the mouth. The bottle is cream with dark brown lower half. There are boys with flowers and an inscription painted on the upper exterior.

They derive their name from the production centre Cixian, 40 kilometers southwest of Handan. Potters painted this wine decanter with small boys holding leaves and the inscription 仁和館 (renhe guan ‘Benevolence and Harmony Tavern’). Archaeologists excavated a similar Jin dynasty (AD 1115–1234) bottle from a canal site at Liuzi, Suixi county, Huaibei city, Anhui province.
