The vase has an indented collar and neck with a relief band of lotus petals, tapering cylindrical neck and bowl mouth. Its foot is splayed with a stepped edge and a gritty foot ring. The tips of the petals are shaded blue with blue veins and with trefoil scroll work above a symbol which can be identified as a musical stone or as an emblem of good fortune.
