Description:
A pair of oracle’s boots covered in pink/red satin silk cloth. Leather soles (stitched with cotton thread) also partly covered in silk cloth (weft faced tabby). Sides of upturned boots made of green dyed leather. On the uppers are represented dragons’ faces; worked in appliquéd cloth patches (including damask and brocaded cloth that includes gold-coloured metal-wrapped thread) and couched silk thread. Boot higher at front than back; vent at back. Lined with green tabby cotton cloth.
