Book-cover. On the outer face a framed field with a central Ian-tsha monogram, the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism (right) and the seven symbols of the universal monarch (left). A register of Ian-tsha characters frames them. In a recess on the inner face Buddha between Śāriputra and Maudgalyayana. On a shorter side to face outwards a garuda. Carved and pigmented on wood.
