Description:
Axle-cap with linch-pin. In the shape of a long, slightly tapering tube which rests on a broad ring. Round the upper part there is a broad band with a central ridge. The rest of the surface is decorated with ornaments composed of broad, curving bands, symmetrically disposed and spirals. The bands are embellished with leiwen, flutings and bosses. The linch-pin terminates in two animal heads, one large and one small, nose to nose. Made of bronze.
