The Wuyi Zhai is located in the east courtyard of the Yangxin Hall in the Forbidden City. During the late Qing Dynasty, Emperor Pu Yi may have been used to store works of art such as calligraphy and painting when he lived in the palace, so there was a production of the “Wuyi Zhai Jingjian Seal”. There are two seals in Xuantong’s “Wuyizhai Jingjian Seal”. During the small court period, ancient calligraphy and paintings collected in the palace were counted and sealed with seals such as “Treasure of Xuantong’s Imperial View”, “Xuantong Appreciation”, and “Wuyizhai Jingjian Seal”. This seal is one of them, and it is an important symbol for identifying the collection of calligraphy and painting in the Qing Dynasty
