The pen holder has a round body and a tooth socket. Model Yangwen decoration on the wall: The cliff stands upright, the waves roll over, the peach trees are covered with peach fruits, and bats fly on it. It is a fixed combination of auspicious patterns with the meaning of longevity, celebration, and blessing. The decorative cloth arrangement is slightly stylized, with a high rising sun and a particularly clear and well-defined edge. On it, finer lines are used to depict details, such as the treatment of the back of bats, showing some characteristics of the Daoguang period Pao ware process. There is a regular script “Daoguang Year System” in the box on the outer bottom of the pen holder
This piece is a relatively successful work among the few Daoguang style pao ware in the Qing Dynasty, but compared to the Kang and Qian dynasties, when the Fan pao craft was at its peak, its vitality and charm are slightly inferior
