Copper glazed ball type watch

[Copper glazed ball watch]

Copper glazed ball watch, Switzerland, 19th century, with a height of 17 centimeters and a diameter of 6 centimeters
The watch is a copper plated crescent shaped watch frame with a thermometer embedded in the front of the frame, and the watch is hung on a hook on the top of the frame. Small white enamel dial with double needles. In addition to the 12 hour mark, there are also 4 hour circles representing seconds, weeks, monthly calendars, and December, respectively. The upper chord is formed by the handle. The two sides of the watch are inlaid with glass hemispheres on the outer rim of the movement to form a front cover and back shell, making the entire watch look like a round ball, which is clearly visible mechanically through the inside of the glass ball. The design is quite ingenious.
