There is a poem titled “Poems of a Little Immortal Wanderer” written in the autumn of the ninth year of Jiaqing’s reign (1804), at the age of 59. Hong Liangji once committed a crime by saying that he was garrisoned in Ili. Feeling the experience of his life, he named himself a recluse. This work was written after he was pardoned from Ili. The style of the calligraphy is gentle and graceful, with both the beauty and elegance of the pavilion style and the light and elegant style of the Dong School calligraphy. The ink is sophisticated and vivid, which is the intention of Mr. Beijiang’s running calligraphy
